Bar Laurel is the second bar in the village to be named after the tree which sprouts up in the bar itself. It is one of the few places to have its own on-site parking. The picture shows the car park entrance to the right - if you drove past and are driving back in the direction of the port!
It may look neglected but it isn't! Pedro, who owns and runs the bar together with his two sons and daughter, is a compulsive cleaner and it seems to be family trait! The selection of Tapas is limited but of a very high standard and, in common with all the Tapas bars in the village, great value. Their grasp of English is surprizingly good and, as a consequence it is very popular with the ex-patriot population that live in the village.
They are great football fans and you will be able to watch a limited selection of live football including the biggest premiership matches. Beware though, that this bar is Canarian so if there is more than one Spanish match on, they may not show the Premiership!
